HOBBAY
Draft for legal review. This document has not been approved by counsel and is not yet in force.

Terms of service

1. Who we are and what HOBBAY does

HOBBAY is a marketplace that lets independent creators ("Stores") sell digital products, memberships, courses and community access to buyers. HOBBAY provides software. Each Store is the seller of its products and is responsible for them.

2. Payments

Payments are processed, held and settled by a licensed third-party payment provider. HOBBAY does not receive, hold or transmit customer or creator funds and never sees full card details. By paying you also accept the payment provider's terms shown on its checkout page.

3. Your account

You must give accurate information, keep your password secure and tell us about unauthorised use. You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or the acceptable use policy.

4. Purchases and access

A purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to access the product for the period shown at checkout. Memberships renew automatically until cancelled; cancelling stops future renewals and you keep access until the end of the paid period. Refunds follow the refund policy and the Store's own policy.

5. Content

Stores own their content and grant HOBBAY the rights needed to host, display and deliver it. You may not copy, resell or share paid content. Report infringing or harmful content from any product, post or store page.

6. Liability

HOBBAY is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, HOBBAY is not liable for a Store's products, statements or conduct. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

7. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain unless mandatory consumer law where you live says otherwise. [Counsel to confirm governing law, forum and consumer-protection carve-outs for each target market.]
