Selling on HOBBAY

You are the seller of everything your Store offers. You are responsible for your products, descriptions, prices, delivery, customer support, taxes, and compliance with laws in the places you sell.

Payments and payouts

To accept payments you must complete verification with our payment provider, which holds your funds and pays them to your bank account on its schedule. HOBBAY never holds your funds. Payout timing, reserves and holds are set by the provider.

Fees

HOBBAY charges a platform fee on each paid sale, shown in your dashboard (default 5% of the pre-tax amount), collected by the payment provider at the time of sale. Payment processing fees are deducted by the provider. Affiliate commissions you offer come out of your share. On refunds, the platform fee share is returned proportionally; processing fees usually are not. For memberships the provider applies the fee as a percentage in whole basis points, so a renewal's fee can differ from the exact amount by up to one basis point of the charge. If the provider ever collects more than that, HOBBAY returns the excess to your payout account.

Taxes

HOBBAY calculates tax at the rate you configure. You remain responsible for registration, invoicing, filing and remittance (for example VAT in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia or the UAE).

Refunds and disputes

You may refund buyers from your dashboard. Chargebacks are handled by the provider; disputed amounts and fees are deducted from your balance as the provider requires. Access to disputed purchases is suspended until the dispute is resolved.

Prohibited products

See the acceptable use policy. Regulated financial advice, guaranteed-return investment schemes, and unlicensed signal services may need licences in your jurisdiction; you must hold them before selling.

Suspension

We may suspend a Store, remove products or end accounts for breaches, fraud risk or legal requirements. Buyers keep access already paid for unless the law or a dispute requires otherwise.
